Are your little ones experiencing snow for the first time?
Head straight to the natural toboggan slopes! Just a few hundred metres apart (Blancrupt and Col du Calvaire), these slopes will give younger children their first thrill of sliding! Of course, the older kids (and us too!) will love speeding down the snow-covered hills…
And speaking of thrills, we can’t recommend enough the Tricky Track, the 4-season rail sled! Inaugurated in 2019, it’s a fun activity for the whole family! Whether riding solo or two per toboggan, the descent of just over 1 km with a top speed of 40 km/h will delight everyone from 3 years old and up.
For kids aged 3 and above, it’s time for walks! Join Mathieu, our experienced mountain guide, for the P’tit Trappeur snowshoe outing! A fun introduction to snowshoeing, allowing little adventurers to explore nature in winter. They’ll search for animal tracks and clues in the snow!
From 6 years old, families can join a snowshoeing excursion: a great way to learn more about this activity and reach the summits for breathtaking views! Following easy-access paths with stunning viewpoints, the guided family walk will be one to remember.
Want to introduce your child to skiing? The Club Piou Piou of the Lac Blanc French Ski School (ESF) welcomes children from 4 years old. In a secure environment, supervised by a friendly and experienced instructor, your child will learn the basics of alpine skiing while having fun!
If they prefer to try snowboarding, they can start from 6 years old! Whether with an ESF Lac Blanc instructor or Vincent, a specialist Switch Snowboard instructor, your child can learn to shred the slopes!
Activities during the winter school holidays
During the winter school holidays, which this year take place from 8 February to 10 March 2025, the Lac Blanc resort organises several activities for families!
It’s the perfect opportunity to try out biathlon! A small cross-country skiing race combined with laser rifle shooting will give you a chance to try this discipline for free, starting from 8 years old.
The patrollers of Lac Blanc resort also welcome families to share their passion for their job. These mountain guardians will give you an insight into their daily winter routine in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
