How to get to the Lac Blanc resort

How to reach Lac Blanc resort in the Vosges?

Lac Blanc resort is situated at an altitude between 900 and 1200 meters. You can access Lac Blanc 900 from Le Bonhomme and Lac Blanc 1200 from Orbey.

The resort gets its name from Lac Blanc, located on the road connecting Orbey to Lac Blanc 1200.

Our tip: Head to Lac Blanc 900 mainly to explore the Bike Park, while most other activities are available at Lac Blanc 1200.

Arriving from Vosges:

  • Head towards AnouldPlainfaingCol du Bonhomme.
  • Descend 2 km after the pass and take a right for 2 km, arriving at the foot of the ski lift (Lac Blanc 900). You can also turn right at the Col du Bonhomme towards Col du Calvaire.

Arriving from Alsace:

  • Take the exit for ColmarKaysersberg, then head towards Le Bonhomme via RD 415.

  • To access Lac Blanc 900, follow the signs to Le Bonhomme at the Hachimette roundabout. Drive 2 km after leaving the village of Le Bonhomme, then turn left for 2 km, arriving at the foot of the Bike Park ski lift.

  • To reach Lac Blanc 1200, take the direction of Orbey at the Hachimette roundabout, cross the village towards Les Lacs, and drive approximately 12 km to reach Col du Calvaire, where you will arrive at the top of the ski lift.

Arriving via the Route des Crêtes:

  • From the North (Les Bagenelles) or the South (Col de la Schlucht), head towards Le Bonhomme.

Attention!! The Route des Crêtes is closed to traffic each year from December to the end of April. Be sure to check the website Inforoute.alsace for updates.

Carpooling

Additionally, a carpooling area has been set up along RD415, close to the Fréland roundabout (in front of the football field). This allows anyone who wishes to park their vehicle there and continue their journey via carpooling.

In summer, take the Navette des Crêtes

From June to September, shuttle buses allow you to access the Route des Crêtes as well as the Lac Blanc resort without a car.

The Navette des Crêtes, departing from Colmar, serves several stops, including the Lac Blanc dam, Blancrupt (home to the Adventure Park, Barefoot Trail, Till and Froll Fun Trail, etc.), and Col du Calvaire.

Typically, the Navette des Crêtes operates on Saturdays and Sundays in June and September, and daily in July and August.
