Picnic area - Road of Riquewihr

Two beautiful little hikes, starting from Kientzheim or Sigolsheim, in order to reach this nice and sunny picnic area.

From the centre of Sigolsheim discover the national necropolis, imposing military cemetery erected on the « Blutberg » the bloody hill in memory of the murderous battles of January and February 1945.

The climb is a little steep, but the view is absolutely amazing on a clear day. When you make a stop admire the superb view of the vineyards.

From Kientzheim, the walk leads you to the oak of the chapel, a venerable tree which is more than 200 years old.
