Our ideas for outings at the Lac Blanc resort during the May bank holidays
Take advantage of the May bank holidays to discover new activities around the Lac Blanc resort: hiking, mountain biking, fun trails, orienteering, accrobranche… and much more!
Cycle around the station
Lac Blanc is a must for mountain bikers, with numerous signposted trails offering superb panoramic views of the Vosges mountains. Whether you’re an experienced mountain biker or a beginner looking for a friendly outing with family or friends, you’ll find trails to suit all levels!
For the more adventurous among you, come and try out the Bike Park and its routes, from the most technical to the most accessible. If you prefer freeride or cross-country, every descent promises a good dose of thrills!
Explore the resort at your own pace
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned hiker, explore the Lac Blanc resort’s hiking trails adapted to all levels. The Club Vosgien signposted itineraries will guide you through breathtaking scenery: mountain panoramas, verdant meadows, emblematic lakes, not to mention a rich and unspoilt fauna and flora!
Take the whole family on an orienteering tour of the resort! Arm yourself with a map and compass (for the more advanced circuits) and find the numbered markers to punch in your map. You can also opt for the fun walks to enjoy nature and have fun at the same time! Solve puzzles suitable for children aged 4 to 12. The Till and Froll play trail has been open since April 5!
Parents with young children can also enjoy the mountain with stroller-friendly trails!
Discover the mountains differently
From May 1, explore the Lac Blanc Aventures accrobranche in the heart of the Vosges mountains. A wide variety of tree courses for all levels and ages awaits you!
Get a feel for nature on the barefoot trail, just a stone’s throw from Lac Blanc Aventures! Kick off your shoes and set off on a trail of fun, sensory and educational workshops to awaken the senses of young and old alike. A sensory experience not to be missed by the whole family!
Enjoy a typical meal in a farmhouse inn
In between activities, take a break to sample local specialties at one of the farm inns close to the resort! Surrounded by pastures and mountain peaks, enjoy a marcaire meal, a traditional menu generally consisting of soup and smoked pork with roïgabrageldi and salad, followed by a locally matured munster cheese! And don’t forget blueberry tart or “Siesskass”, a farmhouse fromage blanc drizzled with kirsch, for dessert!
